Copper supplement for horse's
Copper supplement for horses when feed ration is lacking copper or have an excessive iron intake. Copper promotes the absorption of iron which is needed for the hemoglobin production (red blood cells).
Copper is also neccesary the the enzyme who acts to form elastine, collagen and melanin. Copper is vital for bone creation, for the cartilage structure, the immune system and pigmentation of hair.
There are indications of a relationship between copper deficiency and OCD, particularly in young horses. Copper deficiency is often an underlying reason for horses to develop anemia. A sign of copper depletion that the coat changes colour.
The iron/copper ratio should be between 3-5 in the calculated feed ration.

3 ml/100 kg body weight and day or according to calculated feed ration.
E.g. Horse, 500 kg, 15 ml/day (10g).
