Strong Blood supplies the horse with iron, copper, cobolt, B12 and folic acid that are all necessary for the production of red blood cells. red blood cells contain the protein haemoglobin, which is responsible for the oxygen transport in the body. Haemoglobin needs, amongst others, iron and copper to efficiently transport oxygen around the body. The higher amount of red blood cells the more oxygen can be absorbed from the lungs. An increased oxygen intake means that the body receives a larger amount of oxygenated blood to the muscles, in turn this increases the muscles ability to work aerobic (delaying the lactic acid threshold). Strong Blood, together with training, gives the body the right conditions to increase the amount of red blood cells and increase the oxygen uptake. 

Stronger Blood is suitable for horses with low haemoglobin levels or when horses suffer from an iron deficiency. Strong Blood can also be used to balance a feed ration with low iron levels.
