Probiotika till häst för en balanserad tarmflora och en väl fungerande mage
The horse's digestive system is entirely dependent on a stable and well-functioning bacterial flora to break down fibers and utilize the nutrients in roughage. Stress, changes in environment, feed changes, or parasitic infestations can quickly disrupt the delicate balance in the large intestine, which can lead to anything from loose stools and gas to reduced performance and poorer hoof quality.
This supplement is specifically designed to support the horse's microbiome through a powerful combination of several different bacterial strains.
Carefully composed content
• Active yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) - the active yeast acts as a stabilizer in the large intestine and is an EU-approved probiotic additive. It helps optimize fermentation and the microenvironment in the gut, improving the horse's ability to absorb nutrients from the feed. It primarily works in the large intestine where it stabilizes the pH level and counteracts acidification (for example, with starch-rich feed).
• Lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus acidophilus) - lactic acid bacteria provide live beneficial organisms that help maintain a healthy mucous membrane in the intestine. They act as a protective barrier that prevents unwanted bacteria from establishing themselves, thereby strengthening the horse's local immune defense in the gastrointestinal tract.
• Inulin (prebiotic) - inulin is a natural fiber that is not absorbed in the small intestine but reaches the large intestine intact. There, it acts as a specific "food container" (prebiotic) for the good bacteria. By feeding the beneficial bacteria, inulin ensures that the supplement's effect is both quick and long-lasting.

When is Probiotic Pro recommended?
- During feed changes: For example, when transitioning from pasture to hay or when starting a new batch of haylage.
- Challenging periods: During competition, transport, or environmental changes.
- For digestive disturbances: For horses that have loose stools, have free fecal fluid, or are gassy.
- After medication: To restore balance after completing a course of medication/antibiotics.
- Hard-to-feed horses: To maximize nutrient absorption in horses that have difficulty maintaining weight.
Always contact your veterinarian if your horse shows serious symptoms or is ill.
Daily dose
Large horse/Horse (500 kg) 10 ml (10 g)
Pony/Pony (250 kg) 5 ml (5 g)
10 ml (10 g) = 2 tsp
Probiotic is mixed into the horse's feed. In case of acute needs or during significant feed changes, the daily dose can be increased for a limited period to provide extra protection to the gut flora.
Give as a course for acute issues or for preventive purposes when conditions change. Can also be given daily for long-term issues.
Store cool and well sealed For best shelf life and maximum effect, probiotics should be consumed within 3 months after opening the package as bacteria are sensitive to oxygen and moisture. After three months, the dose can be slightly increased to continue achieving maximum effect.
