Prebiotics & Probiotics
"What is the difference between prebiotics and probiotics?"
Probiotics are the live beneficial bacteria in the gut. These good bacteria ensure proper digestion and help maintain a healthy intestinal environment.
Prebiotics are the nutrients that feed the beneficial bacteria in the gut. Prebiotics are fibers and carbohydrates that reach the hindgut intact, allowing them to support the good bacteria by providing essential nutrients.
You can supplement with both prebiotics and probiotics. When combined, they are called synbiotics.
Harmony Fix- A concentrated probiotic with live yeast culture. A "first aid" solution for horses with loose stools or diarrhea. A real boost of beneficial bacteria.
Harmony - A synbiotic containing both live yeast culture and prebiotic fibers. Harmony is an excellent daily supplement for horses with inconsistent or loose stools and supports nutrient absorption in horses with a dull coat or recurring skin issues.
Gut Balance - Designed with two different types of prebiotics, Gut Balance is suitable for horses with loose or watery manure, such as free fecal water. It works quickly and effectively to absorb excess moisture and is ideal for horses that, for example, react to a feed change.
